Twitter guide

Use Twitter to keep abreast of Intersolar’s insider tips, and as an effective tool for informing readers – in the form of tweets – about new product launches, industry debates, eye-catching stands and solar flops. It’s also great for discovering where the best parties are at!

How to get started:

  1. Register your details with Twitter – once the start-up process is complete, you’ll be able to read and send messages of up to 140 characters long.
  2. If you have a smart phone, you can install an application, which will allow you to stay informed of events in real time, even when you’re not at the trade show.
  3. Even with a normal mobile, you can join the conversation – log into your Twitter account, go to “settings” and add your mobile phone number. You’ll then be sent an SMS from Twitter. To tweet, simply send messages (up to 140 characters) to this number. Your message will appear as a normal tweet.
  4. To join pv magazine’s trade show conversation, use (Hashtag) #pvi2010 at the end of every message you send. It will then appear live on both your Twitter news feed and our website.
