Centrotherm secures 300 MW Chinese order

Under the agreement, it will deliver solar cell production systems for anti-reflective coating and phosphorous diffusion.

The Germany-based company, which is currently in self-administration, has said it will deliver 300 MW worth of the solar cell production systems to the China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) subsidiary.
CECEP Solar has a 180 MW photovoltaic cell and module production line in China’s Jiangsu Province. "We aim to be a leading supplier of photovoltaic products in China, and to also offer our quality products globally at competitive prices. With centrotherm photovoltaics as a supplier for solar cell production equipment, we have the key to access such a position," stated Jiang Likai, general manager at CECEP Solar.
No further details were released.
