The Germany-based company is kitting the system out with its own equipment, including 6,648 photovoltaic modules, mounting systems and two inverter stations. It is expected to be grid connected in four months time.

"The park shows that even during the economic crisis green development is of great importance in Greece," stated Dieter Schmitt, head of Conergy Greece. "Green investments are popular in the country and they are accompanied by a rising awareness for quality, longevity and security."
