5 MW PV plant completed in UK
06. July 2012 | Applications & Installations, Industry & Suppliers | By: Becky BeetzSpain-based Solaer has completed the installation of a 5.3 MW photovoltaic park in Cornwall, the U.K.
Located in the village of Eastcott near Bude in Cornwall, the plant is expected to generate enough energy to supply 3,000 households. Solaer, Conergy’s Spanish partner, installed over 21,000 of the German company’s PH solar modules.
Commenting, Luis Jimenez Gutierrez, managing director of Conergy Spain, said, "This project is a great example of how cross-border solar partnerships can really work. We are delighted that our long-time partners Solaer have relied on our expertise to assist them in entering the U.K. market and that our partnership is moving forward so successfully."
