As a result, the company, which secured a USD$400 million, seven-year loan guarantee in December from the U.S. Department of Energy in order to expand its solar module manufacturing capabilities, now qualifies for UK solar feed-in tariffs.

"Total installed solar power capacity is growing significantly in the UK," states Julian Hawkings, Abound Solar senior vice president of Sales and Marketing. "Abound Solar is very excited to be expanding to the market and expand on new and existing relationships with system integrators and project developers in the region."
