An assortment of batteries
07. June 2012 | Intersolar 2012 |Trojan Battery has expanded its industrial line of deep-cycle batteries for renewable energy and backup power applications to include two new sizes.
At a C/20 discharge rate, the new IND27-2V battery has a 1,457 ampere hour (Ah) capacity and the new IND33-2V battery has a 1,794 Ah capacity. The industrial line is designed to support large daily loads where the batteries are cycled regularly in a variety of photovoltaic systems including micro-grids, off-grid resorts, rural telecoms applications and more.
These two new two volt industrial batteries make transport and installation easier and provide more design flexibility. They are engineered for high energy requirements delivering 1,500 cycles at 80 percent depth-of-discharge, and feature advanced battery technologies that provide optimum performance. To enhance safety and durability, the new batteries will feature terminal protectors, which increase protection against shock or short-circuiting and terminal corrosion.
