In total, they are expected to install around 30 MW of PV in 2011.
All three projects are scheduled for completion in the third quarter of this year. Together, they should generate approximately 28 million kilowatt hours (kWh) in their first full year of operation, and almost 600 million kWh total over the next 20 years.
The first EPC agreement will see a 10.5 MW solar park installed in Napanee, while the second will entail the construction of an 8.5 MW solar park located at Thunder Bay International Airport Authority. Meanwhile, the last project will see 10.5 MW being installed in Thunder Bay on Fort William First Nation land.
SkyPower was recently awarded 148.3 MW through 13 power purchase agreements by the Ontario Power Authority under Ontarios feed-in tariff program.
