The 50 MW plant is owned by renewable energy development company, GSHHSD, based in northwestern China. It will be located in the city of Zhangye in Gansu province. According to a statement released by JinkoSolar, it will be connected with the state-operated grid "within the year".
"It is our hope that this partnership will give impetus to even more wide-spread solar energy applications," commented GSHHSD chairman, Xingjie Zhu.
