The company, which added a total of 27 individual projects in Quebec and Ontario in 2014, offers full operation and maintenance agreements, customized monitoring, engineering support, SCADA solutions and balance-of-plant services, according to Dalen Copeland, EDF RS’ director of Business Development.

EDF RS operates more than 8.5 GW of solar, wind and biomass projects throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, employing 500 in positions ranging from on-site technicians to control center operators, data analysts and performance engineering.

In September, EDF RS parent group, California-based EDF Renewable Energy (EDF RE), sold two solar projects with a combined 57 MW to U.S. energy company Dominion.
