Electrolux re-enters solar under licensing deal

AEG modules are returning the PV market. The AEG Industrial Solar Modules are being made available in European markets, the U.S. and the Middle East region.

It is likely that the AEG modules will be constructed under OEM contract.

In an exclusive deal, the AEG modules will be coupled with an in-house monitoring solution. The monitoring platform will give customers “remote, real-time access to… performance monitoring data.”

The modules will carry RoHS environmental certification. The new AEG solar team presented the offering at the recent Intersolar Europe trade show in Munich.

On June 26, a reference to AEG Power Solutions was removed from the initial article.
