Share

Integrated into the roofs of Marcegaglia’s – a steel processing company – industrial buildings in the southern Italian coastal city, the installation is comprised of 90 flexible thin film amorphous silicon PV modules.

Once operational, the system will generate over 3.7 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, which is said to be enough to meet the needs of around 1,400 households. It is jointly owned by Enel Green Power (51 percent) and Marcegaglia (49 percent).
