Enerparc completes 52 MW PV project in Germany
29. October 2012 | Applications & Installations, Industry & Suppliers | By: Becky BeetzEnerparc AG has completed and grid connected a 52.7 MWp photovoltaic park in Germany’s Brandenburg.
Located on the former Walddrehna military base in Dahme-Spreewald, the over €70 million plant was completed in two phases over a period of 16 weeks. It is comprised of 210,000 Trina Solar photovoltaic modules.
The plant was developed by Enerparc, for its own portfolio. Overall, it is expected to generate enough energy for 15,000 homes.
"Such a short construction period of a few months would not have been feasible without a perfect project management and close cooperation between all parties involved. Many thanks especially to our supporters in the region who have made the project possible," commented Arne Radl, Head of Project Development at Enerparc.
