ET Solar is set to build a 50 MW solar PV plant in Israel.

The Chinese group’s German subsidiary, ET Solutions AG, will provide turnkey EPC services for the installation along with local partners G-Systems and El-Mor Group.

Located 20 kilometers northwest of the ancient port city of Ashkelon, the project will be built on 60 hectares of semi-desert land and is expected to generate more than 85,000 megawatt hours of electricity annually. The solar power facility is scheduled to be grid-connected by the end of the year.

ET Solar will provide end-to-end services, including project management, electrical design, plant layout, purchasing, quality control, construction supervision and commissioning services. The company and its partners will also provide operations and maintenance services for the project.
