Flexible cables
07. June 2012 | Intersolar 2012 |Top Cable presented their low voltage flexible TOPSOLAR PV ZZ-F cables that are suitable for mobile services and for fixed installations.
They have been specially designed for the connection of photovoltaic panels. The conductor is Class 5 tinned copper, that is based on the EN 60228 regulations. The insulation is a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) thermosseting material of the E16 type. The outer sheath is also a LSZH thermosetting rubber of type EM8 and is available in red or black. Rolls of lengths of 100 meters and coils are available. The product has an estimated lifetime of 30 years and can operate at minimum service temperatures of minus 40°C. The maximum short circuit temperature is 250°C. The cable is water and UV resistant.
