Emmvee is developing a 10 MW solar park in Andhra Pradesh.

Emmvee, which has a significant rooftop solar presence in Germany, will own the 10 MW Emmvee Green Power Park as part of the 20 MW development and will perform EPC, operations and maintenance on the park.

The company will fit the park with its own modules, made at Bengaluru, 100 km from the development.

"This large scale project development is the first step in this field in India," said D V Manjunatha, founder and managing director of Emmvee Group. "We now have new pillars to place our business activities upon in order to generate further business growth in Europe and India: next to photovoltaic modules, solar-thermal solutions and toughening glass, photovoltaic project development will be a prominent part of our business."
