Green EVA
07. June 2012 | Intersolar 2012 |Breyer GmbH will present its green EVA extrusion line for encapsulation film.
The technology combines low shrinkage encapsulation film and a high production speed that does not need energy-intensive annealing or interlayers. The encapsulation film that is produced on a regular extrusion line has a natural shrinkage that not only affects lamination, but can destroy wafers.
A low-shrinkage film allows for a smooth and fast lamination, as the company says. Breyer’s process avoids tension in the film from the start and thus post-annealing is not required. The specially designed surface of the EVA film requires no PR interlayer as well and the rolls can be winded without PE films in between saving costs and energy.
