Share

The company announced that the solar modules sold to date cover an area of ten million square meters. This, says the company, amount will help to prevent around 500,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) from being emitted annually.

Commenting, Udo Möhrstedt, IBC SOLAR AG's founder and chairman of the board said: "Our Premium Partners who worked with us to distribute environmentally-friendly PV technologies have made the greatest contribution to our success. An installed capacity of one gigawatt prevents around 500,000 tons of CO2 each year."

Shortly after founding the company, Udo Möhrstedt started developing a network of installers for photovoltaic components and systems. IBC SOLAR now works with approximately 750 Premium Partners worldwide.
