Ingeteam appoints Adolfo Rebollo new CEO

The board of directors of Spanish electrical engineering group Ingeteam has appointed Adolfo Rebollo as the company’s new CEO, replacing Javier Ojeda, who resigned from his position.

Rebollo began his career at Ingeteam in 1996 and most recently served as managing director of the Ingeteam Power Technology S.A. unit, which brings together all of Ingeteam's business related to engineering, electronic systems and equipment for power conversion and control.

Ingeteam specializes in electrical engineering and in the development of frequency converters, motors, generators and control systems. Among its various business activities, the company manufacturers PV inverters and offers operation and maintenance services for solar PV and wind plants.

Among his various positions at Ingeteam, Rebollo served as head of the project to establish Ingeteam in the U.S. city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 2010-2015. During the period, he acted as general manager of Indar, which manufactures and markets wind generators for the U.S. market. The Ingeteam plant at Milwaukee also produces generators and converters for the wind and PV sectors while also centralizing the group’s O&M services for the North American market.

Ingeteam maintains a total of 6.5 GW of installed power in both solar and wind energy generating plants. The company operates subsidiaries in 17 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, South Africa, India, China, Australia and throughout Europe.
