Israel: 630 kW rooftop solar project completed
01. June 2011 | Applications & Installations, Industry & Suppliers | By: Becky StuartConergy Greece has completed a 630 kilowatt peak rooftop solar installation in Israel. It is said to be one of the country’s largest.
The system is located atop one of Big Shopping Center Ltd’s shopping centers in Israel’s Tiberius. It is the first of ten proposed systems that the retailer is planning to install across the country.
An unnamed designated subsidiary of Big Shopping Centers built the system together with Conergy’s local partner Unirom Electronics, which was responsible for the planning, installation and the electrical design.
It is said to be the second photovoltaic project in Israel’s mid-size category that has been completed with the use of Conergy’s solar equipment.
