JinkoSolar secures $58 million loan guarantee from CDB

The Chinese manufacturer says it will use the funds to further develop its photovoltaic systems, in order to "create more opportunities in the green energy field."

"We are very pleased to further extend our relationship with CDB by signing this loan agreement," said chairman Xiande Li in a statement released.

JinkoSolar declined to divulge any further information.

Last December, the company’s Swiss subsidiary, JinkoSolar AG signed aS$1 billion agreement with the CDB. At the time, it was said that the financing would to be used for overseas expansion, merger, acquisition and downstream business, including project development and EPC for photovoltaic power plants.
