Krinner lands manufacturing facility in Canada

Krinner Schraubfundamente, the German-based ground screw manufacturer, announced today that the company has set up its first base outside Germany.

With the aim of expanding business into North America, the company established facilities in Ontario, Canada, to produce ground screws. Production has already started in the former Siemens building located on Park Avenue East in Chatham. At present , the new facility has a workforce of 15 and is looking to doubling the number of employees in the next few months.

As an alternative to common concrete foundation, ground screws are playing an increasing role in construction of large-scaled photovoltaic projects. Krinner produces a variety of screws and has equipped more than 100 MWp of photovoltaic installation worldwide.

  1. looking for an outlet in BC, looks like an awesome product, I live in Kelowna BC and need access to the equipment to install, do you rent out the gear to install these screw piles, also looking to see how the screws would help on retaining walls
    please advise
