The company expects its revenue for the fourth quarter of last year to be in the range of US$870 to 910 million, wafer shipments of 615 to 620 megawatts and module shipments of 160 to 165 MW. This is a jump from the previously expected US$710 to 750 million with wafer shipments of 580 to 600MW and module shipments of 120 to 130MW.

The company's estimated in-house polysilicon production and cell production are also pegged above the predicted numbers for the same period. For fiscal year 2011, LDK Solar expects revenue in the range of US$3.5 to 3.7 billion, wafer shipments of 2.7 to 2.9 gigawatts and module shipments of 800 MW to 900 MW.

These calculations are estimates as of now according to the company whose shares have risen by four percent since last month after the announcement that annual capacity at its wafer plants have hit three gigawatts. The actual results are to be released at a later date.
