LDK Solar signs deal with H Power
19. October 2010 | Markets & Trends, Industry & Suppliers | By: Shamsiah Ali-OettingerChina based LDK Solar has signed a module supply contract with H Power, developer of photovoltaic projects based in the Czech Republic.
Th vertically integrated manufacturer of photovoltaic products will be joining hands with H Power in a bid to expand their presence in Europe according to the company's chairman and chief executive officer Xiaofeng Peng. LDK Solar is set to supply the Czech project developer with 84 megawatts of solar modules next year. This stands under the terms of agreement.
The Czech photovoltaic market has been one of the most attractive ones in Europe with the most generous feed-in tariffs. However, the announcement that that incentives will be significantly reduced has led to uncertainties in the last month.
