Accordingly, it has said its order books are well-filled through to the middle of the coming year, with more orders due to be placed in the coming weeks and months. This, it said, will lead to significant increases in its revenues in 2011.
The German company noted that in particular, Chinese customers are investing in new equipment to produce solar cells. It added that increasing cost pressure in the photovoltaics industry will reinforce this trend, consequently leading to additional investments in new production lines.
Manz cited substantial investments in research and development activities during the crisis, and retaining its production capacity, as primary reasons for its positive development.
Dieter Manz, Manz Automations CEO commented: Keeping and further expanding our capacity means that we are able to realize this strong growth. We are also planning to consistently continue and further expand our R&D activities in 2011.
