The lines are available for both crystalline and thin film modules. The lines are already available in the U.S. and will be released to the rest of the world in the third quarter of this year. The company states that the new product offers the startup of a PV manufacturing plant at a minimal cost and is adaptable to market locations. It offers a semi-automated and highly automated option.
Another product on offer by Spire is the Spire EL Tester. Spi-EL module testers use electroluminescence measurements to identify micro-cracks and other invisible defects in modules. The systems are suitable for either laboratory or high-volume production environments. The Spire EL Tester offers fast speed and higher performance and is tightly integrated with the Spire Simulator to provide metrology test platforms.
