The current report examines such topics as the sharp decrease in venture capital funding in the first quarter of the year, the boon for downstream companies that record low prices have provided as global installations continued to grow and how investors are reacting to these market dynamics.

Top venture capital deals in the first quarter of the year are also highlighted, as are the regions that are attracting the most investment, the growing popularity of solar lease and third party financing models and the current merger and acquisitions trends pervading the market and their impact on downstream players and technology.
