Mexico reaches 14 MW of PV installations

Share

Mexico's National Solar Energy Association (ANES) has confirmed the figure, and further estimated that there are about 60,000 photovoltaic modules installed in the country.

According to Carlos Flores of the ANES, photovoltaic growth is led by Mexico's Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), which last year reached 6 MW of installed capacity.

CFE's portfolio includes a 1 MW photovoltaic park in the region of Santa Rosalia (Baja California), which was inaugurated last year and is considered the largest ground mounted project in Mexico.
