Photon Energy records slight Q1 improvement

Overall, the Dutch solar company recorded a much better first quarter, compared to 2014, with a loss of €1.726 million, up from €2.376 million. Revenues also increased, from €1.830 million in Q1 2014, to 2.168 million. EBITDA significantly jumped from €201 million to €523 million in Q1 2015, while EBIT was €261,000, up from €-471,000. Despite this, gross profit fell from €1.601 million to 1.547 million.

Representing a positive increase, Photon Energy Operation’s portfolio reached 142 MWp, up from just 95 MWp last year. Overall, the company, directly and indirectly, owns 27 solar power plants totaling 27.1 MWp across Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Australia and Germany.

O&M signifies a growth area for Photon Energy, with contracts totaling around 80.7 MWp, up from 19.4 MWp in Q1 2014.
