Power-One showcases new Aurora 300 Watt microinverter

Share

The Aurora 300 microinverter allows the control of the panel’s output individually and offers Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for each single module. Additionally, its new Optimizer line has DC-to-DC technology to help maximize the energy harvested from solar installations.

Power optimizers like the AURORA OPTI-0.3 complement all Power-One Aurora inverters as they optimize the energy harvested from each module in an array as the company states. The Aurora Ultra-1400 is the largest solar power inverter in the Aurora line and it is designed with large utility-grade installations in mind.

Power conversion efficiencies of up to 98.5 percents are offered, combined with high-speed MPPT channels. It helps optimize energy harvesting across a wide array of operating conditions. Up to four independent MPPT input channels offer maximum flexibility and energy harvesting as the company states.

This very large inverter system significantly reduces on-site wiring and testing for large utility scale installations, according to the company.
