With over 18,000 attendees this year, Solar Power International (SPI) is the biggest and most essential annual event in the U.S. solar industry. And with the United States expected to be the world’s second-largest solar market this year, SPI has become increasingly important globally.

Today we bring you video coverage of SPI 2016, through our pv magazine LIVE platform and youtube channel.

In part 1 of our SPI show report, we look at solar market trends in the second half of 2016 and 2017, with a focus on the utility-scale market. This interview features newly appointed First Solar CEO Mark Widmar, SolarWorld Americas CEO Mukesh Dulani and GTM Research Associate Director of U.S. Solar Cory Honeyman.

In part 2 of the show report, we examine the energy storage market, and take a look at some key products. This interview features Sonnen, Enphase, Ideal Power and GTM Research.

We also bring you video coverage of pv magazine’s 4th Quality Roundtable. This is the first such roundtable that we have held in the United States.

Be sure to keep on eye on our site for more exclusive video interviews which will be published next week, including with the new head of DOE’s SunShot program, Dr. Charlie Gay, EnergySage CEO Vikram Aggarwal, and more.
