Reliable monitoring
07. June 2012 | Intersolar 2012 |Gantner has developed the new string.CC generator connection column meant for large photovoltaic plants with outputs that lie in the KW to MW range.
With the aid of the string.CC generator connection column, the individual solar module strings in a photovoltaic power plant can be connected in parallel before sending the power on to a central inverter using cable with a larger cross section. The string.CC is prepared for connection of eight, 16 or 24 PV strings and can also be configured to meet the customer's specific requirements.
The monitoring of signals is enabled with the signal contacts, circuit breakers and protective devices. All inputs are galvanically separated with a permanent working voltage of 1,000VDC. The product can be connected to data logger or SCADA system using standard RS485 Modbus RTU. There is also a DC load disconnect switch present.
