Solar Universe expands reach with new East Coast franchises

San Francisco-based solar franchising group Solar Universe on Wednesday announced the addition of two new franchises in New Jersey and New York.

The company said the latest franchises would allow it to continue its east coast expansion, reaching more customers than ever before and providing a more cost-efficient alternative to traditional electricity.

The new locations follow the company's recent acquisition of Gen110, one of the nation's leading distributed electricity companies and a pioneer in direct sales, which Solar Universe said now provided it with "a new, low-cost way of acquiring customers without expensive marketing campaigns." Solar Universe also recently opened a new online center, further increasing the company’s growth.

We will continue to grow our franchises, thus propelling Solar Universe one step further into one of the fastest-growing industries in America."

Dan Keller, co-operator of the New Jersey franchise, added, "Having the tools and assets that Solar Universe provides enables us to strongly compete with any competitor. We are looking forward to being a part of Solar Universe's network of benefits, allowing us to take our business to new heights."
