SolarMax signs distribution partnership with Krannich Solar

Switzerland's SolarMax has announced today the signing of a distributor partnership deal with Germany's Krannich Solar.

The collaboration sees Krannich Solar agree to distribute the entire SolarMax string inverter range throughout Europe, including the SolarMax domestic P series right through to its commercial MT series. The company's new 30/32kW HT series devices will also be part of the distribution channel.

Krannich Solar UK commercial director Phil Ellery revealed that the company had been looking to stock SolarMax products for a while. "Krannich Solar has been seeking a premium manufactured inverter range to join our comprehensive portfolio and, with the ‘Swiss Quality' hallmark, the SolarMax range very much fits our requirements. We are very glad that the deal is finally complete."

The first deliveries of the inverters are due to be received by Krannich Solar U.K. over the next two weeks, with customers advised that orders for SolarMax units are now being taken.

"It is great to have completed this deal with Krannich Solar," enthused SolarMax U.K. distribution manager Andy Lycett. "They are one of the U.K.’s largest and most well-known PV distributors, with a loyal customer base and plenty of respect around the industry."

At the recent Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich, SolarMax keenly promoted its self-consumption solutions and energy storage devices at the show in a move that was echoed in booths elsewhere on the concourse. Equally, SolarMax’s recent expansion in the U.K. market – the company installed 65 MW of PV capacity in the U.K. in the first quarter of this year – was also in keeping with a general upswell of support and interest in PV in the U.K.
