Commenting, Chris Gronet, Solyndra’s CEO said: “Meeting these strict European standards further validates our commitment to product quality and to meeting the needs of our customers for reliable, rooftop solar electricity. The UK feed-in tariff has heightened interest in commercial rooftop solar power throughout the region and this certification further assures our customers of Solyndra’s suitability for the UK environment.”

Solyndra is one of only a small number of solar companies to have achieved BRE Global certification.
