"The UK has ambitious goals. Our portfolio matches the individual market segments perfectly and we are looking forward to being a major player in this dynamic business," commented Daniel Freudiger, general manager of Sputnik Engineering International AG and head of sales & marketing at the company's Swiss headquarters in Biel.

The products for the UK include the string inverters SolarMax S, SolarMax MT and the company’s SolarMax TS central inverters. The company underlined that it has optimized its devices to meet British standards (Engineering Recommendation G83/1 and G59/2)

It added that it will provide full details of its plans at this year’s EU PVSEC, which opened its doors today in Valencia, Spain.
