SunEdison sells 33 MW worth of PV systems in Italy and Spain

Overall, the 53 MW comprise 12 systems, which will be monitored, maintained and operated by SunEdison. The transaction details were not disclosed.

In other Italian news, meeco Group subsidiary SunCarrier Services Italia Srl., has finalized and transferred three photovoltaic projects worth 6.6 MWp.

Construction on the projects, which are located near Fano, in the Marche region, has already begun.

Claudio Alberti, director of SunCarrier commented, "In this time of general reduction of the feed-in tariffs and changes in the Italian legislation, bringing to life such a considerable project was quite a challenge. We are therefore, all the more happy to announce the transfer and the start of construction works on these three sites."
