In the first year, the Baoding Tianwei Group subsidiary will ship 36.1 MW of modules to Pairan. "The framework agreement with the German company Pairan is the beginning of a long-term cooperation with each other," Tianwei general manager Ma Jianjun said.
The photovoltaic modules will be produced at Tianweis 500 MW production plant, which was established last August. The company says that it plans to expand the plant's annual capacity to 1.5 gigawatts by 2012. This is states, would make it the worlds largest integrated module factory.
