While a spokesperson for the Chinese solar company would not reveal the investment details, or who its partner is, they did tell pv magazine the MOU will see the installation of a solar park in the U.K. More details are expected to be made available in the next 4 weeks.
In a statement released, William Sheng, CEO of CSUN Europe GmbH, said "CSUN is preparing for large scale employment of its technology in solar park project realization We are very pleased to have found the right partners from the investment community, with whom we have signed a 50 MW Memorandum of Understanding as first step of our UK extension plans."
CSUN will be exhibiting at the Solar Power UK tradeshow, scheduled to be held in Birmingham from October 2 to 4. Country manager, Yolanda Qin will be holding daily presentations on the important characteristics of photovoltaic modules in a solar park application.
