Ukraine: Activ Solar completes another 20 MW PV system

The company is currently working on a photovoltaic project of which it will not disclose the full size of. However, it has already built 40 MW this year and, when complete, it is expected to be one of the biggest of its kind in the world.

The project is located near the village of Perovo on the Crimean Peninsula. Activ said that the first two phases are expected to produce approximately 53,000 MW hours of electricity per annum.

Overall, the systems are comprised of over 176,000 mono and multi-crystalline photovoltaic modules and 60 central inverter stations. The company added that so far, the project has created over 500 construction jobs and 30 full-time jobs.
