While the company still has not divulged how big the final project will be, a spokesperson for the company told pv magazine today that more details regarding the next phase and full size of the plant will be released in January.

Since July, Activ has installed 80 MW at its Crimean site. Furthermore, in October, it completed the 80 MW Ohotnikovo Solar Power Station, also located in the Ukraine. As with its current project, the plant was installed over a number of phases throughout 2011.

Before Activ became so active in the Ukraine, there was just seven MW of installed solar capacity in the country, despite the fact it boasts a favorable tax climate and FIT of over €0.40/kWh.
