Spanish renewable energy advisory group Vector Cuatro has opened a new office in Chile as a new regional hub for its activities in South America, further strengthening its international presence.

The new office in Santiago de Chile adds to the Spanish multinational’s growing international operations, which include regional branches in Italy, France, Bulgaria, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom as well as in Spain.

Vector Cuatro first entered Latin America’s renewable energy markets in 2011 as a technical advisor for solar PV plants and in 2013 opened its first office in Mexico amid strong growth of renewables in the region. The company has so far managed all of its operations in Latin America from its Mexican office, supported by its Madrid headquarters. By opening the Chilean office the company aims to further strengthen its presence in the Southern American markets. This year Vector Cuatro has focused on several countries in Latin America as an independent technical and financial Advisor and is starting to also provide asset management services.

The company focuses on the complete value chain of solar PV projects: from advisory and structuring and engineering to management and administration of facilities.

The group has so far in the region provided services for 36 MW in asset management, 1,898 MW in technical services and 1,106 MW in transactions, carrying out several projects in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Chile and Brazil.

Vector Cuatro, part of part of Italy’s Falck Renewables Group, has a combined track record in excess of 15 GW, more than 1 GW under management in Europe and America comprising more than 150 plants. The company has carried out more than 600 projects in 22 countries worldwide.

Vector Cuatro will attend the upcoming Intersolar South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which runs August 23-25.
