Construction on the first 39 MW phase is scheduled for completion next March, Currently, the foundations are being laid, module plates assembled, and medium voltage line to the feed-in point and transformer station built. In January, the company believes the photovoltaic modules and inverters will be added.
Construction on the remaining 84 MW is then expected to take place in the second quarter of 2012. It is hoped that the entire 123 MW will be grid connected by the end of the year.
JA Solar is supplying the modules needed for the project, SMA the inverters, and Hilti the mounting systems. Meanwhile, Conecon is working on some assembly parts, as is Biosar, and Siemens is building the transformer station. Finally, Enerparc is undertaking the DC planning, while BFP takes on the AC planning.
While solarhybrid and the component manufacturers are acting as interim investors, the project is expected to be marketed to other investors once it has been grid connected. " the plant will be sold to the end investor and the financing by a bank will take place," explained the German solar company in a statement. This is the first time solarhybrid has tried this strategy. "For this purpose flawless documentation in the form of various positive due diligence reports is required," it added.
In 2011, solarhybrid says it installed solar power plants worth 218 MWp. Looking ahead to next year, it expects to install a further 200 MW of projects in Germany. It adds that photovoltaic projects in Bulgaria, South Africa, Israel and the U.S. are lined up.
