According to Yingli, the modules will be used in commercial solar projects across the U.S.

Last year, the two companies entered into a ten MW supply agreement. Borrego used the modules in several of its projects, including the San Diego Community College District’s 2.8 MW project and the San Diego County Water Authority’s 1.8 MW installation.

"Borrego Solar will always continue to work with multiple vendors," stated Aaron Hall, president of Borrego Solar. "As with the case with Yingli Americas, we have doubled our purchase volume in 2011. We made this decision based on our past positive experiences and the confidence that Yingli Americas can supply our customers with reliable products."
