Chinese module giant Yingli has announced its largest supply deal to date in Israel and the Middle East region.
Yingli is already shipping 27.5 MW of its YGE 72-cell NH Series modules for the unidentified one million m2 project, which has been designated a national infrastructure project by the Israeli government.
Yingli, which will distribute the modules through its local partner Ledico Ltd., announced details of the supply deal in a press release today, adding the modules will be shipped until April.
Yingli said it regards Israel as a market which could see up to 340 MW of solar installed this year.
