ET Solar to supply 84 MW of modules for 14 US projects in North Carolina

The Chinese PV solar module manufacturer ET Solar will provide 84.4MW of PV modules for solar power projects in North Carolina, being developed by asset manager Capital Dynamics.

This will be the second joint project between the two companies: in 2013-2014 Capital Dynamics purchased more than 30 MW of ET Solar’s modules for its projects in Massachusetts and California. This time the Chinese manufacturer has been chosen to provide its ET-P672 310/315Wp modules for the 14 ground-mounted PV projects, the largest of which has a 7MW capacity.

Last year, ET Solar took several big steps in expanding its business globally, both as a manufacturer and an EPC. The company’s portfolio for 2015 includes a 70 MW solar power plant in the Philippines, along with the 50 MW PV farm in Israel. In both projects ET Solar is set to provide end-to-end services, including project management, electrical design, plant layout, purchasing, quality control, construction supervision and commissioning services.

Entering Turkey's PV market was another milestone on the company’s roadmap. At the end of the year ET Solar completed the construction and grid connection of its first two Turkish plants, both sized at 1.1 MW.
