Located in Somerset, the project is being installed both on the ground (770 kilowatts peak (kWp)) and on a rooftop (380 kWp).

The first phase has already been completed, with 2,000 monocrystalline PV modules, manufactured by A-Sun, having been installed across 2,850 square meters of roof. Meanwhile, the second phase will see 4,100 modules installed on a total surface area of two hectares. Overall, the PV system is expected to generate around 1,125,000 kWh annually.

A spokesperson for A-Sun told pv magazine that the project should be completed within the next couple of months. The parties involved however, would not disclose how much had been invested, or who the system was being built for.
