Aleo solar offers storage systems

Both these storage solutions can cover a large proportion of direct electricity demand (70 to 80 percent). The solar power is consumed directly as required, stored in the battery or fed into the public grid. This enables operators of photovoltaic systems to become more independent from suppliers and from rising electricity prices. “With optimum configuration, the storage systems are now a worthwhile addition to existing and new systems,” says Jörn-Bo Hein, Head of Sales Germany.

Both systems are DC coupled, fully integrated, and designed to last for up to 20 years. They are based on sophisticated lithium-ion storage systems including battery management, an inverter without transformers and a monitoring system. Monitoring is possible via an Internet portal or iPhone app. The mix of mains current, battery power and solar power is managed fully automatically and conveniently – operators do not need to modify their consumption behaviour.

The VS 5 Hybrid from the German manufacturer Voltwerk (Bosch Group) is available with a capacity of 8.8 kilowatt hours (kWh), 11 kWh or 13.2 kWh. The system ensures the greatest possible proportion of directly consumed electricity, even when consumption is high or fluctuates sharply. The electricity consumption data for a household, the status and efficiency data for the photovoltaic system and the battery are represented in real time. A further function of the VS 5 Hybrid is that it offers the best possible security of supply even in the event of a mains power failure. Voltwerk offers a five-year warranty on the whole device.

The S10 from the German manufacturer E3/DC is integrated into the home electrical network at the home junction box, so there is no need for electrical modifications to the home network or room ventilation systems. An additional USB wireless module allows straightforward integration into a home automation system. The capacity of the S10 is 5.4 kWh and this can be increased up to 10.8 kWh. E3/DC offers a six-year manufacturer's warranty on its “powerstations”. As a sales partner, aleo solar has concluded a cooperation agreement with the manufacturer E3/DC.

The VS 5 Hybrid and S10 storage systems are installed exclusively by certified installers. The first training sessions for certification will take place at the aleo academy in July. aleo solar also offers extensive support to help familiarise its authorised specialist dealers with electricity storage technology, covering everything from economic efficiency calculations to technical know-how.
