As European & America’s PV markets are getting competitive, many China PV players have adjusted their market strategy and eye on the South East Asia Market. Thailand PV market, as an emerging market, is getting flourishing.

How to access to Thailand PV market friendly and successfully, it’s the big issue. As anti-dumping case in European and America PV market for China suppliers, many China PV players are now cautious to new market. Clenergy set the Thailand market entry strategy: excellent solution, professional service and PV field promotion.

Clenergy participated in this year’s Green Network Forum on March in Bangkok, Thailand. Green Network Magazine organized the event in association with the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Thai Photovoltaic Industries Association (TPVA). The Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha paid a visit to Clenergy’s booth.

Following, Clenergy held a PV seminar in Bangkok, Thailand, with its partners Solar PPM on May.

The seminar gathered numerous local PV companies in Thailand.

Clenergy’s CEO Daniel Hong opened the seminar with a warm welcome speech. Guests included Panu Tanomvorsin, VP of the Thailand Photovoltaic Industries Association (TPVA), Solar PPM CEO Chamnarn Pornpilailuck and MD Dr Ekaporn Rukkhamsuk, Huawei APAC Manager Peter Li and Technical Manager Powell Lu, and other high-level representatives from the Thai PV industry.

After the seminar, Mr. Hong signed an MOU with Solar PPM to develop renewable energy business, especially solar PV in Thailand and its region. Solar PPM is a subsidiary of PPM Metal, a leading metal distributor in Thailand.
