The company entirely Italian and active in the energy market for more of 35 years, and from 10 years in the renewable field, becomes a leader also in Brazil with its tracker solution TRJ, supplying two of the main investors that are currently operating in Brazil.

With a 260 MWp Ituverava, in the State of Bahia, will be the biggest photovoltaic project with single axis tracker in the world. The estimated energy production will be of 500GWh/year, once online.

In Brazil there is an ongoing program of investment in major projects within which the revival of the national energy policy is included, foreseeing an extended development of electrification and power generation from renewable energy sources, and here solar has the advantage of simplicity and short time frame respect to any other source.

“For that reasons the new Convert do Brasil LTDA based in Belo Horizonte has been established. The new branch has the objective to supply, assist and produce the structural component of the TRJ in Brazil, in order to supply the MERCOSUR region with a local product, while the technology will continue to be produced and developed in Italy”, said Giuseppe Moro, CEO of Convert Italia Spa – The TRJ model is the evolution of MX1 developed in 2006.

Easy installation and reduced maintenance make the product particularly adaptable in disadvantaged regions, thanks to the high tolerance of the pile head that facilitate alignments and the performance also with no skilled labour. The TRJ makes PV plants more productive increasing average performance by 25%.

After the projects already realized in South Africa, India and Chile in the last year, and with further opportunities to be completed in Brazil, Mexico and Egypt, Convert Italia confirms its vocation as technological player worldwide in line with the global market development and now can enter by right among the main five industrial companies of the sector."
