EcoSolifer has recently introduced a leading edge, own-engineered and patented 3rd generation solar solution for all thin-film technologies, with substantially higher energy output; helping to achieve energy efficiency results the global PV industry is aiming for.

The 3Dcell is a revolutionary new thin-film cell concept that offers end-users a radical fall in the Levelised Cost of Energy (“LCOE”). This is achieved through a significant, double-digit percentage output efficiency increase.

The unique 3Dcell design originates from EcoSolifer’s unique patented solar cell process technology, which can be applied to any thin-film solar cell structures, including CdTe, CIGS, CIS and a-Si/µ-Si etc.

The main feature of the 3Dcell innovation is a simple modification of the thin-film solar cell structure and refinement to the manufacturing process.

3DCell is an innovative new approach to solar cell design through which sunlight absorbance is maximized through multiple reflections while minimizing active layer thicknesses resulting in reduced resistive losses.
